All yoga is mindful, but it seems like the practice has been stripped back so much in the west that we now see students practicing yoga purely as a physical practice, in which case, they are simply exercising; this is not yoga.โ

In this video, you will be encouraged to move slowly, taking care to notice every sensation, every transition, and every breath in the body. โ

Your mind will wander, as you experience moments of silence and stillness. This is natural, take this time to notice when your mind wanders, and actively bring it back to the present moment. The more you practice this, the longer your mindfulness practice lasts and you may start to notice slight differences in the way that you deal with life off the mat.โ

How to bring mindfulness to your yoga practice:โ
o Clear your space of all distractionsโ
o Actively tap into your own experienceโ
o Focus on how your body feels, instead of how it looksโ
o Release any expectations of the practiceโ
o Resist any urge to compete with your past self, practice in the present, every day is different, every practice is differentโ
